Screw Machine Parts

PrecisionForm continues to re-invest in new equipment in order to meet the quality and performance demands of our customers. PFI has flexibility in screw machines ranging from:

  • Single Spindle CNC’s
  • Robotic Machining Centers
  • 5 and 6 Spindle Screw Machines
  • 9 & 11 station rotary transfer machines

    • Many machines have CNC slide capability for spindle stopping, cross drilling and high tolerance finishes.

    Our flexibility in equipment makes PFI the right choice for early prototypes through mass production. This allows our customer to maximize the design parameters in order to achieve the most efficient production techniques.

    Cold Formed Parts

    Every Request for Quote is reviewed to determine whether the geometry and production volume of the part lends itself to the cold heading process. PrecisionForm has the production flexibility of producing parts on a single stroke machine up to a 5 die multiblow header.

    Many parts produced at PrecisionForm will utilize a combination of processes. The part may be produced as a near net blank through cold forming and then finished through a variety of other secondary options.

    • Breakaway Supports

    The PFI 200-1A coupler is a precision machined assemblage of components designed with a failure mode that meets all aspects of the 1998 American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) specification for sign, luminaire and traffic signal supports. The PFI 200-1A coupler is available as a direct replacement for the PFI 100-1 and other couplers that met the 1975 AASHTO specifications, thus assuring the motoring public the ultimate in safety.
